Dentsply Maillefer X-SMART IQ Endodontic Motor
The X-SMART IQ by Dentsply Maillefer is a smart, cordless endodontic motor with continuous and reciprocating rotation, designed to provide greater freedom of movement during treatments.
Its cordless handpiece is slim, well-balanced and extremely ergonomic, offering excellent visibility during access to the root canal, thanks to its 360° adjustable miniature head. It also includes a digital power button with an intuitive status indicator, and a lithium battery with autonomy for up to 16 treatments, which can be recharged even during use.
It can be used with the factory presets or customised via an iPad Mini, supporting Maillefer or third-party files, and even allowing entry of parameters for file systems not originally included.
Maillefer has developed an exclusive iOS application that helps explain endodontic treatment to patients using simple, informative visuals stored in the Dentsply iQ app. The app also allows storage and customisation of file sequences, and real-time torque monitoring with sound alerts and intuitive graphic feedback.
