Adbone®TCP Cylinder | Bone Regeneration | MEDBONE
adbone ® TCP is designed to mimic natural bone.
- Porous synthetic bone biomaterial : adbone®TCP is a fully synthetic bone graft material made from pure beta tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP);
- Three-dimensional bone regeneration : adbone ® TCP features multi-directional interconnected porosity that guides three-dimensional bone regeneration. As the bone healing process occurs, adbone® TCP is resorbed and replaced by new bone;
- High degree of porosity : adbone ® TCP was developed to achieve the highest degree of porosity without compromising mechanical resistance;
Characteristics:
- Easy to handle : adbone®TCP can be easily mixed with the patient's blood. The hydrophilic behavior of adbone®TCP gives the particles high cohesiveness;
- Fully synthetic : adbone®TCP does not contain animal or human tissues or derivatives;
- Vascularization : The interconnected porosity of adbone®TCP constitutes an ideal environment for vascularization;
- Radiopaque : adbone®TCP is radiopaque, allowing monitoring of graft osteointegration;
- Without membrane : the use of a membrane is not necessary unless there is a risk of exposing the graft;
- Pore size: 400μm;
