Adbone®BCP Block | Bone Regeneration | MEDBONE
adbone ® BCP is designed to mimic natural bone.
- Porous synthetic bone biomaterial : adbone ® BCP is a fully synthetic biphasic bone graft material made from 75% hydroxyapatite (HAp) and 25% beta tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP);
- Multi-directional interconnected porosity : adbone®BCP features multi-directional interconnected porosity that guides three-dimensional bone regeneration. As the bone healing process occurs, adbone®BCP is resorbed and replaced by new bone. Due to its composition, adbone®BCP presents a biphasic resorption ;
- High degree of porosity : adbone ® BCP was developed to achieve the highest degree of porosity without compromising mechanical resistance;
Characteristics:
- Easy to handle : adbone®BCP can be easily mixed with the patient's blood. The hydrophilic behavior of adbone®BCP provides high cohesiveness to the particles ;
- Fully synthetic : adbone®BCP does not contain animal or human tissues or derivatives ;
- Vascularization : The interconnected porosity of adbone®BCP constitutes an ideal environment for vascularization;
- Radiopaque : adbone®BCP is radiopaque allowing monitoring of graft osteointegration;
- Without membrane : the use of a membrane is not necessary unless there is a risk of exposing the graft;
- Pore size: 400μm;
- High mechanical resistance (3.0 MPa);
- Porosity of 70%;
- Geomatria : block;
